Mayor joins Chickerell Litter Team for West Dorset Spring Clean.

The Chickerell Litter prevention and Cure Team were out on Sunday 15^th May with support from residents of the Littlesea Estate to litter-pick Cockles Lane from Lanehouse Rocks Road to the Fleet Lagoon. The Team chose Chickerell Footpath No 32 as the target for the 2011 West Dorset Spring Clean. Jean Dunseith (right) West Dorset District Councillor and Chickerell Town Councillor joined team member Paul (centre) and Brian Bean (left) Chairman of the Chickerell Litter Prevention & Cure Team, and members of the estate to help clear the path. Jean said “It is so nice to end my term as Chickerell Mayor by being out with residents to help improve the community that we live in”

Residents helped the team gather 10 sacks of litter, as well as various bulky items including a shopping trolley
